GPMed is a scientific society with approximately 120 physicians and scientists from pharma-ceutical industry, contract research organisations and other research institutions in Austria.
Founded in 1992, the society actively promotes continued education of its members and fosters the development and recognition of physicians and other academics in the field of pharmaceutical medicine. GPMed facilitates professional interactions within the society and between members and other physicians, and maintains close contacts to related associations.
Together with 25 other national societies, GPMed is member of the International Federation of Associations of Pharmaceutical Physicians - IFAPP.
